CELL

CELL is a personal training gym which provides not only physical training but also nutritional counseling, hydrogen gas inhalation and blood sampling equipment. Arii Irie Architects designed a curved orange PVC strip curtain as a threshold between everyday life and training. The vivid color of the strips emphasizes the contrast between the two worlds, while the action of passing through inspires the
awareness of transition.

細胞レベルからの体の改善を目指し、トレーニングと栄養管理、血液採取、水素吸引を組み合わせたパーソナルジム。私たちは、トレーニングに集中できる空間への敷居として、オレンジ色のスリットカーテンを提案した。色をまとうことで、日常とトレーニングの世界を明確に分け、また、カーテンをくぐる行為が世界の切り替わりを自然と意識させる。一方で、どこからでも通り抜けられる手軽さが、空間にのびやかさを生み出した。
